TERMS

PAYMENT
We will block the date once we receive an advance amount of 50% of the total package amount. The balance of 50% shall be paid to us within 24 hours after the ceremony/ shoot. The advance is non-refundable because when we commit the dates to you, we turn away other inquiries and lose potential business.

Payments to be made via bank transfer /  UPI apps only.

Price negotiation
Feel free to ask us for your customized package. We do not negotiate on our final package prices unless there is a change/update in the services.

DELIVERABLES AND TIMELINES 
We take up to 3  weeks for the delivery of the event photos (soft copies) unless communicated to you otherwise. Once the photos are selected for the albums, we take 3 weeks to deliver the album.

Only ONE person from the client’s side shall communicate regarding the timing, changes, corrections or any other queries. 

It is recommended that the client will get us in touch with the wedding planner OR direct all other service providers (florist, DJ, caterer, etc.) to us, to provide any needed information and cooperation to the photographer.

ADDITIONAL  DURATION
All prices are for the mentioned duration (in email) only. We will charge an additional Rs.1500/30 minutes (or as stated in email communication) after the package duration for events unless communicated otherwise.

Start time of the day will be considered precisely from the communicated start time (we shall be at the venue before start time).
End time will be when you explicitly confirm to end our services for the day.

.COPYRIGHTS , DELIVERABLES & DISPLAY

Dreamshot and the client will have EQUAL rights on the work. We  may display any photograph/video clicked in the event on our website/ portfolio/ display areas/ exhibitions/ competitions/advertising etc. We will use the images purely to demonstrate the work that we have done. The photographer shall not use the photos for commercial purposes without the consent of the client and vice versa.

We would appreciate it if the credit is given to the photographer when our work is shared on social media.

We shall retain the RAW files and it will not be a part of the deliverable. All soft copies shall be processed before they are delivered.

All ceremonies and rituals are different, guest attendance and the number of photographers shall vary. Hence we cannot assure the number of photos that would be delivered. We shall always recommend at least 2 photographers and 2 Videographer for any event.

Post Processing
All our wedding photos go through a standard 3 level image post-processing. If you have any specific requirements with respect to the post processing, we would like to know it in advance. Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colors may alter throughout a set of photographs.

Note – Our style/process of editing is consistent and we may not be able to incorporate the editing style of other photographers. 

COVERAGE 
‘Important’ guests will not be obvious to us unless important guests are specifically mentioned in a list drawn up between the client and the photographer OR a family member/ family friend needs to assist the photographer in recognizing important guests.

In ceremonies or at certain venues, the photographer’s movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer’s choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.

It is most preferred when all guests are requested not to photograph the wedding.

ALBUM:

A complimentary album (if included in the package) may contain around 40 pages ( 12*12 inch album). Additional sheets will cost you an average of Rs.350/sheet unless stated otherwise in email.

CANCELLATION

By Clients
1. In case of unavoidable circumstances, the client may cancel this contract by confirming the same via Email but in doing so shall forfeit any advance paid.
2. In case the event is rescheduled to a new date, 3 weeks before the original date and we agree to the same (if we are free on the new date), 20% additional reschedule charges shall be levied.

By photographer 
We will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer able and/or willing to provide a similar package as chosen in this contract at the same/similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package, INCLUDING the deposit.

LOSS OF DATA

By Client
It is highly recommended that the client backs up soft copies /print images as soon as they receive to avoid loss or damage. We do not take responsibility for loss or damages in images once delivered to THE CLIENT.

By Photographer
We take the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation and processing of photographs; including using professional-grade equipment and professional-grade backup equipment.

However, in the unlikely event of THE CLIENT’S photographs being lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons within or beyond our control, the latter’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package INCLUDING the deposit. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price.

Electricity outlet and place for equipment: 5amps/220-230 volts need to be available at reception ceremony location along with a 4’x2’-table to set up our audio recording devices and laptops. (These are most likely available in all rented venues)

Note: If any provision of the terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable under the law, the validity of terms as a whole shall not be affected, and the other provisions of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

The Photographer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
